How to Size a Ring: Your Guide to Finding the Perfect Fit
If you're unsure about your ring size, getting it right is crucial for a comfortable fit. Here's everything you need to know about ring sizing, whether you want to visit a jeweller or measure your ring size at home.
1. Visit a Local Jeweller
The most accurate way to find your ring size is to visit a jeweller. They'll be able to measure your finger precisely and provide your US ring size. We highly recommend this step if you want to ensure a perfect fit.
2. Measure Your Ring Size at Home (In Inches)
Don't have time to see a jeweller? No worries! You can measure your ring size at home with these simple steps.
Things You’ll Need

- Thin strip of paper
Instructions

Cut a Thin Strip of Paper
Make sure it’s long enough to wrap around your finger. -
Wrap the Paper Around Your Finger
Place the paper below the finger joint and close to the knuckle for the most accurate measurement. -
Mark and Measure
Mark where the paper meets. Then, lay it flat and measure the length with your ruler (in inches). -

Helpful Ring Sizing Tips
- Measure at the End of the Day: Your fingers tend to swell later in the day, so it's best to measure then for a more accurate size.
- Consider Your Knuckle Size: If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both areas. Choose a size that fits comfortably over your knuckle.
- Personal Preference Matters: Just like your favourite pair of jeans, some people prefer their rings snug while others prefer a looser fit. Choose what feels best for you!
